About Lucky Penny

Lucky Penny was born out of a love for ceramic painting that our owner, Lindsay Wilson McNamara discovered while frequenting one of her friend’s store dealing with something similar. Lindsay found the inspiration and support from family and friends to start her own business, and here we are! The business name was derived from the fond memories of a recently-departed loved one who, as Lindsay remembers, would often see lucky pennies.

We are a family-owned business started from the ground up! We’re not a chain and there’s nothing like our studio in the town. We love bringing out the creativity in anyone who visits us, and are always happy to see our items being transformed from plain white pieces to stunning works of art by our guests!

Not an artist? No problem! We encourage people of all ages, gender and artistic skills to come in and express themselves through paint and colors in our studio. We’re all about letting your creative self go wild and have fun!
